Field Sales Agent – iPOS Platform (Kakamega)

About the role

The iPOS Field Sales Agent will drive adoption of the mobile point‑of‑sale platform across Kakamega, focusing on agricultural dealers and SMEs. You will onboard new customers, provide hands‑on training, and ensure ongoing support to maximise retention and satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential iPOS customers in the assigned geographic area.
• Present the benefits of the iPOS solution and encourage subscription.
• Accurately profile new customers and work to minimise turnover.
• Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to build a strong pipeline and upsell related products.
• Conduct on‑site installation, configuration, and training on the iPOS platform.
• Provide regular post‑training visits, account maintenance and proactive support.
• Respond promptly to technical issues, troubleshoot, and follow up until resolution.
• Maintain detailed activity reports and communicate customer feedback to internal teams.

Required profile

• Mid‑level experience (minimum 24 months) in sales or field service.
• Proven ability to acquire and retain customers in a B2B environment.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Willingness to travel within the Kakamega region for on‑site visits.
