Field Sales Representative – Nairobi

About the role

We are looking for an energetic, results‑driven Field Sales Representative to be the face of Emerge Egress Consulting in Nairobi. The role focuses on expanding our customer base, managing client relationships in the field, and delivering sales growth through lead generation, presentations and deal closure.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities through networking and regional market research.
• Visit potential and existing customers to promote our products and services.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs and competitor activities to spot growth opportunities.
• Maintain accurate logs of field activities, customer interactions and pipeline status.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts and terms of sale within company guidelines.
• Prepare and submit regular sales reports to management.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and customer support.
• Attend trade shows, industry events and promotional activities as required.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Perform any other sales‑related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Diploma or Certificate in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales; experience in a workshop or technical environment is an advantage.
• Strong communication, relationship‑building and negotiation abilities.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and customer‑focused with a positive attitude.
• Professional, reliable and a team player.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
