Finance Assistant

About the role

The Finance Assistant will support the ESARO Nairobi Office by maintaining finance system integrity, providing timely financial information to senior managers, and ensuring smooth cash‑flow, payroll, and overall finance operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform invoice reconciliation, checking completeness, accuracy and correct budget codes.
• Prepare payment runs in TM5 and obtain bank signatory approvals.
• Support procurement of medical supplies, review purchase packs and post vouchers.
• Prepare bank payment upload files, including payroll, for approval.
• Process travel advances, TER reports and hosting fee charges.
• Post bank entries and assist with audit preparation by tracing documentation.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure documentation completeness.

Required profile

• Experience supporting finance operations, treasury and accounts payable functions.
• Ability to generate accurate financial information for senior management.
• Strong attention to detail for invoice and payment processing.
• Familiarity with payroll administration and cash‑flow management.
