Finance Specialist – Accounting (Remote, Part‑Time)

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Specialist focused on accounting to support a global software development leader on a part‑time, remote basis. The role emphasizes accurate financial reporting, timely reconciliations, and strict compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash‑flow reports.
• Reconcile general‑ledger accounts, investigate discrepancies, and maintain accurate records.
• Assist in budget preparation and conduct variance analysis to aid financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, tax regulations, and internal audit requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather data and resolve financial issues promptly.

Required profile

• Proficiency in financial reporting and reconciliation processes.
• Experience with QuickBooks or comparable accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Knowledge of GAAP standards and tax compliance regulations.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.
