About the role
Oshwal Academy is seeking a qualified Food & Nutrition Teacher to join its dynamic team in Westlands, Nairobi. The successful candidate will deliver the British Curriculum to students from preschool through Year 13, fostering a deep understanding of nutrition and healthy living.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess lessons in Food & Nutrition aligned with the British National Curriculum.
- Prepare students for examinations, conduct grading, and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create an engaging learning environment.
- Administer educational testing and track student progress.
Required profile
- Graduate degree in Food & Nutrition or related field (B.Ed. preferred).
- Minimum of 4 years teaching experience in the subject area.
- Registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) in Kenya.
- Experience with the British National Curriculum is an advantage.
