About the role

Peponi's, a vibrant Neapolitan‑style pizza restaurant in Nairobi, is looking for a friendly and reliable Waiter to join its front‑of‑house team. This full‑time, on‑site position involves greeting guests, taking orders and ensuring a memorable dining experience in a lively, casual setting.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, present menus and answer questions about the menu.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen.
• Serve dishes and drinks promptly, checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, tables and service stations.
• Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to coordinate order timing.
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns and feedback professionally.
• Support food safety standards and assist with opening/closing duties.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Interest or basic knowledge of cooking and menu items.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Professional attitude, attention to detail and passion for hospitality.
• Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality is an advantage.
