Full‑time Waitress – Beachfront Restaurant

About the role

Jumba Ruins Monsoon is seeking a full‑time waitress to join its beachfront team in Mombasa County, Kenya. You will work on‑site in a relaxed, casual‑attire environment, serving both locals and international guests who come for fresh seafood and a laid‑back atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and present menus.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen and bar.
• Deliver dishes and drinks promptly, ensuring a high standard of service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area throughout the shift.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to coordinate service.
• Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and resolve any issues courteously.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of food‑and‑beverage and service processes.
• Basic understanding of cooking and food presentation (beneficial).
• Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is a plus.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
