Graduate Recruitment Consultant (Remote – Kenya)

About the role

UCM Education is expanding its UK education recruitment team and is looking for a motivated graduate or early‑career professional to join as a Recruitment Consultant. This remote, Kenya‑based position offers a fast‑track into international recruitment, focusing initially on sourcing and managing education candidates for UK primary and SEN schools.

Key responsibilities

• Source suitable candidates through the company database, job boards and other channels.
• Review CVs, conduct screening calls and assess candidate suitability.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with teachers, teaching assistants and SEN staff.
• Maintain an active candidate pipeline with regular follow‑up.
• Progress candidates through the recruitment process and update the CRM accurately.
• Meet activity, pipeline and placement targets while developing knowledge of the UK education market.
• Gradually take ownership of a geographic desk and drive its candidate side.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or early‑career professional with strong communication and ambition.
• Resilient, coachable and able to demonstrate ownership and achievement.
• Intelligent and eager to learn the education recruitment sector.
• No prior recruitment experience required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with recruitment CRM systems.
