Head of YouTube

About the role

The Head of YouTube will define the vision and own the entire YouTube ecosystem for a global entertainment company. Reporting at executive level, you will manage a large network of channels and videos, drive commercial impact, and act as the senior liaison with Google/YouTube.

Key responsibilities

• Set and execute the overall YouTube strategy, aligning with company‑wide initiatives.
• Lead a high‑performing organisation of 40+ professionals across content, operations and commercial teams.
• Develop and maintain senior relationships with Google/YouTube and other platform partners.
• Identify and launch new revenue opportunities, expanding the digital footprint across Shorts, CTV, YouTube Kids and other formats.
• Oversee large‑scale copyright, content management and algorithmic optimisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and scaling large YouTube networks or AVOD platforms.
• Deep knowledge of YouTube’s ecosystem, including algorithms, Shorts, Connected TV and YouTube Kids.
• Strong commercial track record with responsibility for significant revenue targets.
• Data‑driven decision‑making ability to translate platform insights into growth strategies.
• Demonstrated leadership of multi‑layered teams and ability to influence senior stakeholders, boards and investors.
