Hotel Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Maintenance Technician keeps our hotel safe, functional and ready for guests by performing repairs, routine upkeep and responding quickly to service requests. This hands‑on position works across guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues in guest rooms, public spaces and back‑of‑house areas.
• Maintain accurate logs for repairs, inspections and inventory.
• Assist with room turnovers, furniture moves and minor renovations.
• Ensure work areas are safe and clean.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors when needed.

Required profile

• Prior experience in hotel or commercial maintenance.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve issues independently.
• Strong time‑management and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and on‑call shifts.
• Physical ability to lift, climb and operate tools safely.
