ICT Teacher – Upper Primary & Junior School

About the role

Pharo Schools is preparing for the 2027 academic year and is looking for enthusiastic ICT teachers to join its Upper Primary and Junior School teams in Nairobi. The role involves delivering a child‑centred curriculum, managing classroom instruction and supporting learner wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging ICT lessons tailored to diverse learner needs.
• Participate actively in co‑curricular and social support programmes.
• Provide timely feedback through assessments, tests and exercises.
• Maintain accurate learner records and progress reports.
• Collaborate with heads of department and senior teachers to address learner challenges.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Education (or equivalent) with a valid TSC certificate.
• At least 2 years of teaching experience at the specific level applied for.
• Strong understanding of the CBC curriculum and commitment to child safeguarding.
• Active involvement in extra‑curricular activities is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in computer applications and digital skills.
• Familiarity with modern teaching approaches and STEM integration.
