Junior Product Manager – Cybersecurity (East Africa)

About the role

The Junior Product Manager will support the growth of a cybersecurity product portfolio across the East African market. You will act as the link between vendors, sales teams, channel partners and customers to drive product adoption and revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing the assigned product portfolio, including launches, enhancements and end‑of‑life planning.
• Maintain product documentation, pricing, and competitive positioning.
• Coordinate vendor meetings, training, certifications and track incentive programs.
• Work with sales and pre‑sales teams to create presentations, proposals and customer‑facing materials.
• Conduct market research on cybersecurity trends, customer needs and competitor activity.
• Support forecasting, pipeline tracking and revenue reporting.
• Build relationships with channel partners, onboard and train them, and gather customer feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in product management, product marketing, business development, vendor management or sales within the technology sector.
• Experience in cybersecurity, networking, cloud or IT infrastructure solutions is preferred.
• Good understanding of cybersecurity technologies and market trends.
