Key Account Manager - Logistics & Supply Chain

About the role

Career Directions Limited (CDL) is hiring a permanent, pensionable Key Account Manager for its logistics and supply chain business in Nairobi. The role links the company with key clients to improve their satisfaction and retention, reporting to the Project Development & Corporate Accounts Manager. Only Kenyan nationals are eligible.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and profile client accounts by performance, value and potential, and produce periodic reports
• Identify key clients' main needs and deliver first-class customer care and service
• Develop and implement a strategy for managing key accounts
• Run regular customer satisfaction surveys and make improvements
• Develop pricing structures for key clients
• Resolve disputes and maintain relationships to promote retention
• Conduct account reviews and client visits to target prospects
• Analyze and adapt strategies to changing business trends
• Generate weekly sales reports for management

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Key Account Manager in the logistics and supply chain industry
• Bachelor's degree in Sales and Marketing
• Kenyan nationality
• Self-driven, resilient, results-oriented, proactive and a team player
