About the role

Pharo Schools in Nairobi is seeking passionate Kiswahili teachers for Upper Primary and Junior School levels to join the 2027 academic year talent pool. The role involves delivering a child‑centred curriculum, managing classroom instruction and assessing learner development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging Kiswahili lessons tailored to diverse learner needs.
• Participate actively in co‑curricular and social support programmes.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback through assessments, tests and exercises.
• Maintain accurate learner records and progress reports.
• Collaborate with the Head of Department and Senior Teacher to address learner challenges.
• Adhere to child safeguarding guidelines and perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Education (or equivalent) with a valid TSC registration.
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience at the specified level.
• Strong understanding of the CBC curriculum and commitment to student wellbeing.
• Proficiency in computer applications and digital skills.
