About the role
The University seeks a Lecturer Grade 12 to lead teaching and research in Agribusiness Management. This full-time position is based at the Westlands campus of Egerton University in Nairobi.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Agribusiness Management.
- Design, administer and grade examinations and assessments.
- Supervise student projects, theses and research activities.
- Maintain an active research agenda and publish in refereed scholarly journals.
- Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development and academic committees.
Required profile
- Ph.D. in Agribusiness Management from a recognised university.
- Master’s degree in Agribusiness or a related field.
- Minimum three years of university‑level teaching or relevant research/industry experience.
- At least 24 publication points, with a minimum of 16 points from refereed journals.
- Registration with the appropriate professional body where applicable.
