Logistics & Compliance Officer (Agriculture)

About the role

The Logistics & Compliance Officer will coordinate import and export operations, customs clearance, duty remission and regulatory compliance for a leading international post‑harvest solutions provider in the floriculture sector.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate duty remission, TREO applications, customs bonds, quota approvals and reconciliations in line with KRA requirements.
• Manage end‑to‑end import processes including IDF applications, customs clearance, shipping documentation and timely delivery.
• Oversee export logistics such as shipment bookings, customs declarations, certificates of origin and related documentation.
• Liaise with KRA, KEBS, NEMA and PCPB for licensing, permit renewals, inspections and statutory compliance.
• Prepare for ETI/SEDEX audits, maintain compliance records and follow up on corrective actions.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Customs Administration or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in logistics, customs clearance, imports/exports or regulatory compliance, preferably in manufacturing, agriculture or floriculture.
• Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills with high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Practical experience with KRA ICMS and customs clearance procedures.
• Knowledge of duty remission/TREO applications and customs bond management.
• Familiarity with ETI/SEDEX audit preparation.
