Machine Attendant – Welding & Gas Cutting

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Machine Attendant with solid experience in welding and gas‑cutting to support our fabrication workshop. You will operate, maintain and assist with production equipment while ensuring high‑quality output and strict safety compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Operate welding and gas‑cutting machines safely and efficiently.
• Assist senior welders and fabricators on routine and complex tasks.
• Inspect raw materials and finished parts for quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines, tools and related equipment.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized and hazard‑free work area.

Required profile

• High school certificate.
• Certificate or diploma in Welding and Fabrication.
• Proven hands‑on experience with welding and gas‑cutting operations.
• Basic understanding of fabrication processes and machine operation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings is a plus.
