Marketing Manager – Kenya (Rural & Clean Energy)

About the role

HomeBiogas Kenya is seeking a hands‑on Marketing Manager to lead local marketing activities and expand impact across rural and semi‑rural communities. The role focuses on turning product benefits and real customer stories into compelling, emotional campaigns that drive awareness, generate leads, and build brand trust.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute local marketing plans that support sales growth across Kenya.
• Craft storytelling around customer impact, cost savings, clean cooking, bio‑fertiliser, and sustainability.
• Create and manage content for social media, digital campaigns, field marketing, videos, posters, and sales collateral.
• Collaborate closely with the sales team to design lead‑generating campaigns and improve conversion rates.
• Support product launches in new regions, hubs, and partnership initiatives.
• Coordinate with local agencies, designers, photographers, videographers, and media suppliers as needed.
• Monitor campaign performance, analyse results, and optimise based on data.
• Ensure all marketing materials are clear, consistent, and aligned with the HomeBiogas brand.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, content creation, or brand‑related roles.
• Strong storytelling ability and proven content creation skills.
• Experience managing social‑media channels, campaigns, and marketing assets.
• Ability to work closely with sales teams and understand field realities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Practical, hands‑on mindset.
