Medical Sales Representative

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a full-time Medical Sales Representative in Babadogo, Kenya, in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. The role involves promoting and selling pharmaceutical and medical products to healthcare facilities, pharmacies, clinics and hospitals, while building customer relationships and meeting sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell pharmaceutical and medical products to healthcare facilities, pharmacies, clinics, hospitals and other assigned customers.
• Achieve agreed monthly and quarterly sales targets and commission objectives, and identify new customers and business opportunities in the territory.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to increase product uptake and market share.
• Build relationships with doctors, pharmacists, nurses, procurement teams and other healthcare professionals, and conduct regular customer visits.
• Present products according to approved product information, stay informed on competitors and pricing, and gather market feedback for the Sales Manager.
• Maintain records of visits, orders and follow-ups, prepare regular sales reports and monitor territory performance.
• Plan customer visits, take part in product launches, conferences and exhibitions, and follow company policies and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, Biomedical Sciences, Sales and Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, medical sales or a related healthcare sales role.
• Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and developing customer relationships.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical or medical products and the healthcare market is highly desirable.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel within the territory are an added advantage.
