Micro Marketing Field Promoter - Kakamega

About the role

Brisk Marketing is hiring a Micro Marketing Field Promoter based in Kakamega to promote a client's lubricant brand. The role is full time and involves increasing product visibility at the point of sale, building brand awareness and driving volume on the ground.

Key responsibilities

• Increase product visibility at the point of sale
• Create awareness for the client's lubricant brand
• Collect field and competitor marketing insights
• Generate and follow up on sales leads
• Actively sell and drive volume on the ground

Required profile

• Background in lubricants, automotive or mechanical trade; a certificate or diploma in mechanical or automotive engineering, or hands-on garage experience, is preferred
• Able to travel extensively and be away from home for a month or so at a stretch
• Prior experience in field sales, merchandising or brand promotion is an added advantage
• Strong communication, negotiation and people skills; comfortable talking to mechanics and workshop owners
• Self-driven and resilient, able to work independently and meet daily and weekly field targets
• Basic reporting skills, able to capture and share field insights accurately
