Mid-term Evaluation Consultant for Access Project in Embu County

About the role

Christian Blind Mission is seeking an experienced consultant to lead a mid‑term evaluation of the Access Project in Embu County, Kenya. The assignment will run for approximately 30 days between late September and October 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a comprehensive mid‑term evaluation framework for the project.
• Collect, analyse and triangulate data on rehabilitation services, inclusive education and income‑generating activities.
• Prepare a detailed report with findings, lessons learned and actionable recommendations.
• Present results to project stakeholders and support strategic planning for the remaining project period.

Required profile

• Proven experience conducting evaluations in development or humanitarian contexts.
• Strong understanding of disability inclusion, rehabilitation, and inclusive education.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high‑quality outputs within tight timelines.

Required skills

• Evaluation methodology design and implementation.
• Data collection and analysis for monitoring and evaluation.
• Report writing and presentation skills.
