Network Solutions & Product Manager – Kenya

About the role

Huawei Kenya is seeking a Network Solutions & Product Manager to lead fixed network solution sales, pre‑sales and business development across Sub‑Saharan Africa. The role involves close interaction with telecom operators and internal teams to design and deliver end‑to‑end network solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies for Fixed Network solutions, covering DWDM, OTN, IP, FTTH, OLT, ODN, ONT, Home Broadband, IP Core, IP RAN and DCI.
• Lead pre‑sales activities including solution design, technical proposals, RFP responses and product demonstrations.
• Engage telecom operators and key decision‑makers on network planning, implementation, service provisioning and maintenance.
• Collaborate with sales, product and R&D teams to create customer‑focused solutions and support Account and Solution Managers in achieving targets.
• Conduct market and competitor research to identify new business opportunities and travel within the region as required.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering or IT.
• At least 2 years of experience in fixed network solutions/products sales or pre‑sales.
• Strong consulting, commercial, presentation, negotiation and communication skills.
• Fluent English; Mandarin is a plus.
• HCIE/CCIE or equivalent certification is advantageous.
