Operational Bookkeeper (Sage 100)

About the role

You will support the financial backbone of a renewable energy company, working directly with the CFO during a comprehensive six‑month training period. This remote, full‑time position offers the chance to master Sage 100, own day‑to‑day bookkeeping tasks, and build a stable career in the clean‑energy sector.

Key responsibilities

• Process accounts payable transactions and manage vendor payments efficiently.
• Handle accounts receivable, including customer invoicing and collection follow‑up.
• Perform accurate bank reconciliations and maintain financial record integrity.
• Execute day‑to‑day operational bookkeeping tasks with precision.
• Collaborate closely with the CFO during training and knowledge transfer.
• Maintain organized financial records within established company systems.
• Support continuity of financial operations during leadership transitions.
• Contribute to streamlined financial processes and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Sage 100 accounting software (required).
• Proven background in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Experience performing bank reconciliations accurately.
• Full‑time availability during standard business hours (EST).
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to learn new systems and adapt quickly.
