Origination Coordinator

About the role

The Origination Coordinator will support Cargill's supply chain operations by coordinating purchases, transportation, and contract management across multiple sites in East Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with transportation, logistics, quality assurance, customer managers and finance teams to ensure efficient execution.
• Plan purchases and transportation to maximize profitable use of stock and storage facilities.
• Research and analyze freight opportunities to maximize margin.
• Enter routine data and run specialty reports from contract management databases.
• Process sales and purchase contracts and amendments in the ERP system, validating impact and resolving issues.
• Support merchandising by aligning intercompany sales and purchase books.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness, Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Commerce or related field.
• Minimum of four years of related work experience.
• Valid and clean Kenyan driving licence.
• Flexibility to work outside an assigned workstation in Eldoret and travel within the East Africa region.

Required skills

• Proficiency in data analytics.
• Fluency with AI tools and concepts.
• Experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
