Part Time Lecturer – Mathematics for Economists I

About the role
Maseno University is seeking a part‑time lecturer to teach the “Mathematics for Economists I” module. The successful candidate will join the Faculty of Business and Economics and deliver high‑quality instruction to undergraduate economics students.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials and practical sessions covering core mathematical concepts for economics.
- Design, administer and grade assignments, examinations and other assessment tools.
- Maintain educational quality through regular review of course materials and alignment with university standards.
- Provide academic support and feedback to students, fostering a rigorous learning environment.
Required profile
- Post‑graduate education, preferably a Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related quantitative discipline.
- Professional certification in a relevant field is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to teach at the university level.
