Our client seeks a dedicated Payroll Specialist to manage weekly payroll for a consulting team, ensuring accuracy, timely direct deposits, and regulatory compliance. The role offers remote work, a flexible 20‑hour week, and the chance to shape payroll and bookkeeping processes.

Key responsibilities

• Process accurate weekly payroll for 10 employees via direct deposit
• Maintain comprehensive payroll records and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
• Transition existing manual payroll processes to automated, efficient systems
• Communicate directly with employees regarding payroll inquiries, tax forms, and updates
• Prepare regular payroll reports for management review

Required profile

• Proven track record as a Payroll Specialist or in a dedicated payroll processing role
• Strong knowledge of payroll compliance standards and statutory regulations
• Hands‑on experience managing weekly payroll cycles
• High attention to detail and proven accuracy in handling financial data
