About the role
The Pensions Operations Officer is responsible for processing and reporting pension payments, ensuring accurate reconciliation and timely disbursement of benefits.
Key responsibilities
- Update and reconcile daily and monthly pension payment transactions.
- Manage suspense accounts and liaise with scheme custodians, finance, and investment managers.
- Perform end‑of‑month bank and GL reconciliations and obtain approvals.
- Process scheme expense payments, quarterly returns, and regulatory filings.
- Capture accurate bank details and respond to internal and external payment inquiries.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports on annuities, income drawdown and DA.
- Process payroll for annuities, income drawdown and commissions, adhering to approval matrices.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field.
- At least two years of experience in pension payment processing and four years overall pension experience.
- Strong knowledge of pension regulatory requirements and claims assessment.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel reporting.
