Photographer / Videographer

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a full-time Photographer / Videographer based in Kileleshwa, Kenya, in the solar energy and renewable energy sector. The role covers photography, video production and editing, and collaboration with the marketing team to create visual content.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and capture high-quality photos of solar installations, products, projects, employees, customers, events and other brand activities, applying strong knowledge of composition, lighting and framing.
• Edit, retouch and organise photos for digital and print use.
• Plan, shoot and produce video content for social media, marketing campaigns, product demonstrations, customer stories, events and corporate communications.
• Operate professional cameras, lenses, lighting, microphones, stabilisers and other production equipment.
• Edit videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or similar software, adding music, graphics, captions, transitions, colour grading and sound design.
• Create short-form video, reels, behind-the-scenes and educational content and adapt it for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn and the company website.
• Work with marketing, sales, technical and management teams to deliver visual assets on time, and maintain an organised library of digital assets.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Photography, Film Production, Multimedia, Digital Media, Communication or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a photographer, videographer, multimedia content producer or in a similar role.
• Experience in the solar, renewable energy, construction, technology, engineering or related sectors is an added advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with professional cameras, lenses, lighting, microphones, tripods and gimbals.
• Strong video editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or similar software.
• Understanding of lighting, composition, framing, audio recording, colour grading and video production workflows.
