Presales Executive - Electronic Security Solutions

About the role

Career Directions Limited (CDL) is hiring a Presales Executive in its USS department, reporting to the Presales Engineer and the Senior Business Manager. The role generates sales through desk research, prepares technical and commercial bids for tenders and customised electronic security solutions, and works closely with the sales team to close deals.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with Sales to ensure the successful closure of the sales process.
• Provide technical training and product knowledge to the sales team, channel partners and sometimes clients.
• Conduct product demonstrations and proof-of-concept sessions, including on-site or virtual demos.
• Prepare cost estimates and technical proposals that meet client requirements.
• Manage the sales bid process by responding to RFIs and RFPs, and carry out tender responses.
• Maintain a library of reusable technical collateral such as reference architectures, proposal templates, FAQs and case studies.
• Keep up with market trends, products and competitors.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree from any major is preferable.
• At least 2 years of work experience; sales or pre-sales experience in the industry is an advantage.
• Good understanding of the tender management process.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to analyse complex technical specifications and bids.
