Production Casual Worker – Manufacturing

About the role

This full‑time casual position supports the daily production flow in a manufacturing environment located in Westlands, Nairobi. The role is hands‑on and focuses on moving materials, assisting machine operators, and ensuring finished goods meet company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Load, unload, sort and transport raw materials and finished products within the factory.
• Assist machine operators by preparing materials and maintaining a smooth workflow.
• Package, label and stack finished products according to company specifications.
• Conduct basic quality checks to identify damaged or defective items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production floor and workstations.
• Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment appropriately.
• Report machine breakdowns, safety hazards, or production issues to supervisors promptly.
• Help with stock handling, counting and arrangement in the production area.
• Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors or management.

Required profile

• Diploma in any field.
• Self‑driven with ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Physically fit and capable of handling manual work.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment.
• High level of discipline, reliability and time management.
• Previous experience in manufacturing or production is an advantage.
