Property Cleaner

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a full-time Property Cleaner in Ruiru within its property management business. The cleaner keeps common areas, outdoor grounds and waste areas tidy and hygienic, supporting a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Clean staircases, corridors, hallways and other common areas daily, sweeping, mopping, dusting and sanitising shared spaces, and keeping entrances and exits presentable.
• Sweep and clean parking areas, walkways and the compound, remove litter and debris, and keep the surrounding property grounds clean.
• Collect and dispose of waste from designated points, empty waste bins and replace bin liners, ensuring proper segregation and disposal.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely, report health, safety or maintenance hazards, and store equipment properly after use.
• Replenish cleaning supplies, report shortages, assist with special cleaning tasks and help maintain a welcoming environment.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience as a cleaner or in a similar role.
• Experience cleaning residential or commercial properties is an added advantage.
• Mature, responsible and reliable, honest and dependable.
• Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties.

Required skills

• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
