QHSE Compliance & Audit Manager

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic QHSE Compliance & Audit Manager to lead quality, health, safety and environmental initiatives at Bottle Logistics East Africa Limited. The role ensures that raw materials and finished glass products meet rigorous quality standards, regulatory requirements and customer expectations while maintaining a safe work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor quality assurance processes and procedures across production lines.
• Conduct inspections of raw materials, cullet and finished reusable bottles to verify compliance with company standards.
• Lead and supervise the Quality Control team to achieve quality objectives.
• Investigate customer complaints and non‑conformities, driving corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Maintain required quality accreditations and certifications.
• Develop and enforce workplace safety policies, SOPs and emergency response procedures.
• Ensure compliance with the Work Injury Benefits Act (WIBA) and report incidents to DOSH within statutory timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of injuries, accidents and compensation claims.

Required profile

• Proven experience in QHSE management within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Strong background in quality control and safety compliance.
• Ability to lead teams, manage audits and drive continuous improvement.
