Quality Control (QC) / Quality Assurance (QA) Personnel

About the role

The Quality Control / Quality Assurance Personnel will plan, implement and monitor quality processes across rope‑access projects. Reporting to the Manager/COO/CEO, the role ensures compliance with IRATA standards, ISO requirements, client specifications and regulatory obligations while supporting safe and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 and IRATA International Code of Practice.
• Conduct regular quality audits and on‑site inspections of rope‑access work to verify compliance with client specifications.
• Inspect, verify and certify PPE and rope‑access equipment according to manufacturer and IRATA requirements; maintain inspection and calibration registers.
• Cross‑check Team Leader and Technician compliance against weekly management reports.
• Collaborate with Operations and HSE teams to ensure consistent, auditable quality and safety standards across all projects.

Required profile

• Entry‑level or up to 3 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance, preferably in rope‑access or construction environments.
• Strong understanding of IRATA International Code of Practice and ISO 9001 standards.
• Ability to travel to project sites and work on‑site in Nairobi and surrounding locations.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Required skills
