Real Estate Advisor - Oaklands

About the role

The Real Estate Advisor for Oaklands works for a client, Tatu City, Kenya's first operational Special Economic Zone, owned and developed by Rendeavour. The role focuses on identifying new sales leads, managing site visits and driving sales of residential developments within Tatu City - Oaklands, including taking part in fairs, exhibitions and presentations. It also supports the Head of Sales and Deputy Head of Sales in executing strategies that strengthen sales performance for the Oaklands residential portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with buyers and give them details of Tatu City, Oaklands products, including price, size and location.
• Prospect, originate and close sales at Tatu City, Oaklands.
• Build knowledge of the property market locally and internationally and help clients make informed purchase decisions.
• Assist the Head of Sales and Deputy Head of Sales in planning open days and other initiatives to generate leads and increase sales.
• Develop links with agencies and brokerage firms to support the sales process.
• Attend seminars and trade shows to gather market information and generate sales.
• Host client presentations and maintain client relationships, understanding their property needs.
• Collate market data and intelligence on Rendeavour's key markets in Kenya and provide a quarterly trend report.
• Use the CRM (Salesforce) to record all sales activities.

Required profile

• Over 2 years' experience in sales and marketing of real estate, banking or insurance products, or in business development.
• Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing or business studies is an added advantage.
• Wide network in Kenyan business circles.
• Mature, pragmatic and flexible approach with strong commercial judgment.
• Team player who can work autonomously, with excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
