Recruitment Supervisor – West & Southern Africa

About the role

We are seeking a Recruitment Supervisor to lead talent acquisition across West and Southern Africa. The role is based in either Accra, Ghana or Lusaka, Zambia and will focus on sourcing senior talent for our building materials and manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop recruitment plans aligned with business needs and manage the full recruitment cycle from screening to onboarding.
• Source and headhunt senior candidates using LinkedIn, recruitment portals, social media and networking.
• Support urgent specialist hires for subsidiaries within the group.
• Conduct talent mapping, industry benchmarking and maintain a robust talent pool.
• Oversee mainstream recruitment channels across the region, track performance, report data and optimise processes.
• Implement employee retention initiatives from onboarding through probation to regularisation.
• Assist in enhancing the recruitment system for compliance and efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 3 years of professional recruitment experience, preferably in building materials or manufacturing.
• Willingness to reside long‑term in Accra or Lusaka and work in a diverse, multi‑racial team.
• Proven ability to lead interviews, assess talent and negotiate offers.
• Hands‑on experience in senior talent sourcing, headhunting and talent mapping.
• Familiarity with recruitment channels and talent markets in West & Southern Africa.
