About the role
The Relationship Manager will deepen relationships with High Net‑Worth Individuals (HNIs) to drive retention, business development and profitability for Equity Bank. The role focuses on acquiring new HNI clients, managing an allocated portfolio and delivering wealth‑management solutions in collaboration with the bank’s EIB, ELAK and treasury teams.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned HNI portfolio, onboarding and engaging clients on the Group’s product suite.
- Achieve deposit, loan, investment, insurance and revenue targets while cross‑selling a minimum of four core products (save, invest, borrow, insure).
- Utilise CRM tools to maintain 100 % client contact, pipeline and service records.
- Ensure at least 75 % of clients are correctly segmented and migrate 60 % of transactions to digital channels.
- Maintain compliance with KYC, AML and all regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide tailored wealth‑preservation solutions.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Banking or related field.
- Professional qualifications such as CFA, CPA, ACCA, CIB or CISI are preferred.
- 5–7 years of experience in relationship management, private banking, wealth management or corporate banking, with a proven track record managing HNI portfolios.
