Reservations Intern

About the role

A client of The Partnership Agency is looking to hire two Reservations Interns to support its reservations department. The interns help handle reservations, respond to client inquiries, coordinate bookings and ensure a smooth booking experience. It suits recent graduates or students in Tourism, Travel and Hospitality who want practical industry experience in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with processing and coordinating customer reservations and bookings
• Respond to customer inquiries by email, phone and other channels
• Help prepare quotations, itineraries and booking confirmations
• Maintain accurate reservation records and customer information
• Follow up on pending bookings, confirmations, payments and cancellations
• Coordinate with hotels, airlines, tour operators and other travel service providers where needed
• Support the team in processing bookings accurately and on time, and provide professional customer service
• Help with general administrative duties and other tasks assigned by the supervisor

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Tourism, Travel & Tourism, Hospitality Management or a related field
• Recent graduate or student seeking practical industry experience
• Strong interest in the tourism and travel industry
• Comfortable interacting with customers and working as part of a team

Required skills

• Good written and verbal communication
• Computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
• Attention to detail and organisation
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
