RPA Tester (UiPath)

About the role

The Jitu is hiring a full-time RPA Tester (middle level) in Nyeri, Kenya. The tester reviews UiPath requirements and documentation, executes and monitors bots, automates test cases with UiPath Test Manager and validates that automations are reliable, accurate and aligned with business needs. The role covers QA activities such as test planning, execution, regression testing, defect management and quality validation.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyse UiPath requirements, process documentation and automation specifications.
• Develop and run test cases covering functional, integration, regression and end-to-end testing.
• Automate test cases using UiPath Test Manager and other testing tools.
• Execute, monitor and validate automated processes across scenarios and environments.
• Validate accuracy, reliability, performance and stability of RPA solutions against business and technical requirements.
• Identify, document, track and follow up defects, working with developers and stakeholders.
• Investigate failures and report on test coverage, defects and automation quality.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts and process owners to clarify requirements.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of QA fundamentals, testing methodologies and software testing best practices.
• Ability to review requirements, spot gaps and risks, and build comprehensive test scenarios and cases.
• Good understanding of RPA concepts and UiPath; experience with UiPath Test Manager is an added advantage.
• Analytical, proactive and detail-oriented, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment is preferred.
