Sales Executive – Customer Acquisition & Telematics

About the role

The Sales Executive is responsible for customer acquisition, lead generation and sales negotiations, focusing on telematics solutions. This full‑time position is based in Nairobi and requires a Business Diploma with at least one year of sales experience.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking and referrals.
• Qualify leads and convert potential clients into customers.
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations for prospective clients.
• Understand client needs and propose tailored telematics solutions.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and close sales contracts.
• Manage and grow relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs set by management.
• Provide after‑sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer information and communications.
• Collaborate with technical and customer service teams to ensure smooth service delivery.

Required profile

• Diploma in Business or a related field.
• At least 1 year of sales experience.
• Problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Team player with self‑motivation and direction.
