Sales Executive & TikTok Content Creator

About the role

Mtunda is looking for a dynamic Sales Executive who will also create engaging TikTok content to showcase its product range. The role combines face‑to‑face sales in a busy CBD store with short‑form video production that drives online traffic and conversions.

Key responsibilities

• Engage walk‑in and online customers, explain product features, upsell and close sales.
• Maintain attractive product displays, support inventory tracking and assist with promotional campaigns.
• Plan, record and edit short‑form TikTok videos that highlight products, offers and brand values.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with brand guidelines.
• Respond to customer inquiries generated from social media platforms.
• Report on sales performance and the effectiveness of video content.

Required profile

• Proven sales and customer‑service abilities, including upselling and relationship building.
• Experience creating short‑form video content for platforms such as TikTok.
• Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts and online sales funnels.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for in‑store and online interactions.
• Organizational skills to manage inventory, time and simultaneous sales and content tasks.
• Prior retail, e‑commerce or consumer‑electronics experience is a plus.
• Comfortable working full‑time on‑site in a busy CBD environment, including weekends or extended hours.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with smartphones and social‑media apps.
