Sales Representative - General Trade

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a full-time Sales Representative for General Trade in the Coastal Region. The role covers territory management, market penetration and relationship building with retailers such as kiosks, mini-marts and wholesalers.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily sales routines to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets within the assigned territory.
• Plan daily and weekly routes to cover all General Trade outlets and ensure prompt delivery so there are no stock-outs.
• Recruit new customers (kiosks, mini-marts, wholesalers) and ensure prime product placement in stores.
• Deploy point-of-sale materials and run promotions to drive consumer off-take, and introduce new product developments.
• Negotiate orders, secure shelf space, resolve customer disputes and manage credit terms where applicable.
• Monitor competitors' activities and pricing, and report on sales, customer feedback and inventory levels daily and weekly.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or a closely related field.
• At least two years of hands-on sales experience in the FMCG sector.
• Proven success in General Trade channels (distributors, wholesalers, traditional retail).
• Familiarity with the Coastal Region's terrain, business environment and market dynamics is highly preferred.
