Sales Representatives - Power, Solar & Engineering Products (5 Positions)

About the role

Five sales representative positions are open in Nairobi for promoting and selling power engineering products and solutions. Candidates must have previous experience in sales, preferably in electrical, power, solar, engineering or technical products.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities and potential clients.
• Promote and sell the company's power engineering products and solutions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Conduct market research to identify customer needs and emerging opportunities.
• Prepare quotations, sales proposals and follow up on leads.
• Meet and exceed assigned sales targets.
• Conduct client visits, product presentations and demonstrations where required.
• Follow up on customer inquiries, orders and payments.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
• Prepare regular sales reports and give feedback to management.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Previous sales experience, preferably in electrical, power, solar, engineering or technical products.
• Willingness to travel for client visits when required.

Required skills

• Strong communication, negotiation and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
• Confident, proactive and results-oriented.
• Technical understanding of electrical/power products is an added advantage.
