Sales Store Clerk – Visitor Services at Presidential Library

About the role

The Sales Store Clerk serves as a visitor services representative at a Presidential Library and Museum. You will manage online ticketing, admissions, respond to visitor inquiries, present orientation films, and operate the museum sales store, ensuring a welcoming experience for all guests.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate visitor attendance records.
• Answer oral and written questions about hours, admission fees, merchandise, and museum exhibits.
• Handle ticketing, admissions, and sales transactions at the museum store desk.
• Create and implement store display projects with minimal supervision.
• Perform routine clerical duties across library and museum areas.
• Resolve day‑to‑day issues independently when supervisors are unavailable.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen or national.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
• Willingness to undergo background investigation and security clearance.
• Physical ability to stand, sit, bend, reach, and lift medium‑weight materials.
• Eligibility for Selective Service registration if male and born after 12/31/1959.
