School Cleaner – Female (Full‑time)

About the role

We are looking for a reliable female cleaner to join our school team on a full‑time basis. The role involves maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for students, teachers, and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming and sanitising classrooms, offices, hallways, washrooms and other school areas.
• Clean and disinfect toilets, wash basins and restrooms regularly to uphold high hygiene standards.
• Empty trash bins, manage waste disposal and replenish bathroom supplies (soap, toilet paper, paper towels).
• Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs within the facility.
• Assist with child hygiene support in early‑learning classes and provide basic classroom set‑up assistance when required.
• Follow the school’s health and safety guidelines, including the use of protective gear.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar cleaning role, preferably in a school or childcare setting.
• Physical stamina to perform manual tasks for extended periods.
• High level of honesty, integrity and reliability.
• Friendly and respectful attitude when interacting with children and staff.
• Residence in or around the Buruburu area is preferred.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of cleaning chemicals, tools and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physical stamina for manual cleaning tasks.
