Senior Accountant – US based Clients

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Senior Accountant to lead the accounting function for a complex, multi‑entity client environment that includes healthcare operations, real‑estate ownership, and investor reporting. The role combines traditional accounting duties with ownership of the general ledger, cash‑flow management, and delivery of decision‑ready financial reports.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain general ledgers for 10+ related entities.
• Oversee the monthly close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and GAAP‑compliant financial statements.
• Produce clean Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow packages each month.
• Reconcile balance sheets and create audit‑ready supporting schedules.
• Manage substantial intercompany transactions, allocations, and reconciliations.
• Maintain accounting distinctions between OpCo and PropCo entities.
• Partner with asset managers and ownership groups for operational and financial reporting.
• Support transition and integration activities across entities.

Required profile

• 4–7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statement mechanics.
• Experience in multi‑entity and intercompany accounting environments.
• Familiarity with OpCo/PropCo structures and investor/lender reporting preferred.
• Advanced Excel proficiency; CPA or CPA‑track is a plus.
• Extreme ownership mindset, analytical thinking, and high attention to detail.
