Senior Assistant Registrar – Assessment

About the role

Zetech University is seeking a Senior Assistant Registrar – Assessment to lead and coordinate all university examination processes, ensuring efficiency, transparency and compliance with academic policies and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee examination timetabling, printing, administration and results processing.
• Ensure compliance with examination regulations, quality‑assurance standards and secure handling of assessment materials.
• Manage budgets, procurement plans and the appointment of external examiners.
• Coordinate moderation, verification, publication of results and liaison with the records office for transcripts and certificates.
• Induct staff and students on examination policies and monitor implementation of external examiner reports.

Required profile

• Master’s degree from an accredited university (PhD preferred).
• At least five years of relevant experience, including a minimum of two years in a supervisory role.
• Proven experience managing complex examination processes and familiarity with academic regulations.
• Membership in a recognized professional body and a relevant professional qualification.

Required skills

• Proficiency in academic management information systems.
• Advanced computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite, data analysis tools and AI applications.
• Strong leadership, organisational and strategic planning abilities.
