About the role
The Senior Finance Officer will support the second phase of the DREEM initiative, a five‑year programme that expands livelihood and education opportunities for refugee, displaced and host‑community youth across Africa. Based in Kenya, the role works with World University Service of Canada to coordinate financial resources and strengthen the capacity of Refugee‑Led Organizations.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the RLO Opportunity Fund, ensuring financial access for partner organisations.
- Provide technical financial assistance to partners and embed financial processes across Phase II functional areas.
- Act as a network orchestrator, facilitating connections between RLOs, donors and implementation partners.
- Design and deliver training on inclusive finance and budgeting for stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on financial performance against the programme’s targets of reaching one million youth.
