Senior Marketing Officer (Contract, 2 years)

About the role

The Senior Marketing Officer will establish and lead the SACCO’s marketing function, driving growth through strategic planning, brand management and hands‑on execution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement an annual marketing and business development plan aligned with the SACCO’s strategic objectives.
• Lead brand management, ensuring consistent corporate identity and increasing visibility in Nairobi and target markets.
• Design and execute digital marketing and social‑media strategies, creating content, monitoring performance and managing online reputation.
• Produce promotional materials, coordinate visual content and support events to boost member engagement and acquisition.
• Track marketing metrics, prepare performance reports for the CEO and Board, and use data to improve ROI.

Required profile

• Relevant degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related field.
• At least five years of marketing experience in a financial services environment (SACCO, bank, micro‑finance, fintech).
• Demonstrated success in digital marketing, social‑media management and graphic design.
• Strong business development, analytical and communication skills.
• Knowledge of the Kenyan financial services/co‑operative sector.
