About the role
The Senior Office Administrator provides secretarial and administrative services across the Authority, ensuring efficient office operations and support to senior management.
Key responsibilities
- Implement policies, strategies, and procedures impacting office administration services.
- Manage correspondences, filing systems, and record keeping.
- Organise meetings, prepare materials, schedule appointments and make travel arrangements.
- Oversee general office administration, protocol, and phone handling.
- Develop reports and supervise/mentor staff within the office.
Required profile
- Six years cumulative service, including three years as Office Administrator I or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in Secretarial Studies, Business and Office Management, Social Sciences with a Secretarial diploma, or equivalent.
- Completion of a secretarial management course of at least four weeks.
- Membership in a relevant professional body where applicable.
- Demonstrated merit and ability reflected in work performance.
