Social Media & Community Marketing Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Social Media & Community Marketing Assistant to support our Social Media Manager in creating engaging digital content and growing our online communities. This is a hands‑on position that blends content production, influencer coordination, and community engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with livestream preparation, video shooting, script writing, and content production.
• Participate in videos and livestreams as host, product demonstrator, or actor in short skits.
• Edit basic videos, write captions, and organise content assets.
• Source, onboard, and coordinate influencers, manage posting reminders and campaign follow‑up.
• Grow and manage WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook and other community groups, driving participation and promotional activity.
• Plan simple group engagement activities and respond to member queries.
• Collect competitor data, social media trends, and local market feedback for research.
• Support offline event logistics, including material preparation, guest reception, registration and on‑site coordination.
• Maintain organised marketing files, influencer records and event documentation.
• Provide general administrative support to the marketing team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Languages or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in social media, community management or content creation (fresh graduates welcome).
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Confident on‑camera presence and willingness to appear in short videos and livestreams.

Required skills

• Basic video editing using CapCut or Adobe Premiere.
• Familiarity with WhatsApp, Telegram and Facebook Groups for community management.
• Experience sourcing and coordinating with influencers (KOLs/KOCs).
